Product Overview
The ECG Snap Electrode Foam Teardrop Wet Gel is an electrode that is used for ECG monitoring in CathLab, X-ray and Thallium stress testing procedures. It is a wet gel radio-translucent electrode that is designed with a carbon-filled plastic snap that feature removing the need to replace electrodes when transferring between ECG devices. ECG electrode is attached by a wire to an ECG monitor. The electrodes are available in foam, cloth or tape, and in a variety of sizes and packaging configurations. The foams version makes up the majority of the stud electrodes which are used in everyday settings as they are versatile in their use. The electrode has an adhesive outer ring which adheres to the skin. A gel center transmits the electrical signal through the connector. Foam electrodes have a protective barrier to prevent fluid interfering and a supplier sticker as a top layer. They can be used for the initial assessment of patients and kept on the skin for several days. Each electrode is carefully designed with gentle, hypoallergenic adhesives and soft conforming materials to ensure comfort and effectiveness on patients.
